Hello to all!

This is a very exciting time in my life right now.  I am happy to announce that this first book of mine is doing very well!  I have been picked up by a top adoption book distributor in the United States - Tapestry Books!!  Please check out their site at www.tapestrybooks.com and then type in the book search field the title of my book, Why Can't You Look Like Me?, and then you are able to rate it which will show how well liked the book is.

So far, in the two months I have been promoting this book, the book is now going across Canada and the United States, in school districts of BC, AB, MB, ON, and NB, and with many more to come.  The Okanagan Regional Library has purchased the title and it is now circulating their 29 branches.  The book is selling at Mosaic Books, (online and in store) and Chapters in Kelowna and at Bookland and Vernon Teach & Learn in Vernon.  The Okanagan Today TV spot; my upcoming spot on the Breakfast Television show; and the soon to be released article in Okangan Life Magazine, June issue, all promoting the book and why I am so interested in having this series in the comunity.  The articles that I have been able to share with Adoption agencies in Canada and the United States has been excellent.

That said, this is a pretty impressive accomplishment for me.  To have that much success in such a short amount of time, without any agents or marketing team backing me, is quite an achievement.  I am extremely proud of my accomplishments thus far but just wait... there is so much more to come!!

Thank you to all of you for your continued support of my efforts to get the word out about diversity in our communities!  You have all been great!
